For 8 weeks anyways. Luke had his first ever swim lesson tonight! We never did the parent/child with him. He was glad to see his friends Kathleen and James in class with him!
He did much better than I thought he would! (on the way there he told me
"I don't want to have a teacher, just myself!" )
He followed all the instructions.
Hung out on the wall with Kathleen.
They would swim them over to the other side and go back for more kids...kinda scary! He really didn't have any experience hanging onto the wall by himself for a long time. He figured it out though!
Doing the monkey crawl around the pool. He's definitely excited to go back next week! What a relief.
Emily had lessons at 7:30pm, so we had an hour or so to kill in the Fun Center.

and done! She really enjoyed it. She's been a little leery about doing lessons again at the Y, she seemed to enjoy WSU better. But, she had alot of fun! Plus, this pool is so much warmer. Only 3 kids in her class too, all girls!
