LaX museum

Yesterday, the kids and I went over to Lacrosse, mainly to go to the Children's Museum. Sam's Club too. There's (finally) a few more fun exhibits there. If I do admit, it's kind of a boring museum. It's fine for where we live, but I bet the Children's Museum in St. Paul will be a million times more fun. We're hoping to get there this summer sometime, the Wizard of Oz exhibit starts this month!

As always, Luke's favorite is the firetruck. I pretty much have to patrol him and make sure he gets out of the drivers seat if other kids are waiting. Then he makes sure to tell them...."It's my turn next." He's very possessive of any kind of steering wheel.

His second favorite thing to do is the boats in the river. And use the hand dryer after.

This new exhibit might be a new favorite, a crane operator! He loves cranes. WSU is always doing some kind of construction work, so there's sure to be cranes there to see. On the way home, we were driving by a super lily pad infested pond. Emily yells "Hey, a crane!" Luke was pretty mad she was talking about the bird.

The whole thing is supposed to rotate, but it was stuck in this position after some bratty kid was jumping all over it and pushing it around by hand. Some parents are completely clueless.

Emily's favorite is the Kwik Trip store, here are my checker and bagger.

They moved the airplane simulator from the basement to upstairs. Luke enjoyed it alot this time, even took 2 little girls for a ride!

They have this new exhibit called "Whoosh." There are a few different spots where you put in little fuzzy balls or silk type scarfs and they "whoosh" through all the tubes really fast and shoot out. Luke thought it was hilarious when Emily stood in front of it and they shot out and hit her in the face....check out his belly laugh in the bottom picture!
