Rotary lights bus trip!

Last night, the kids and I went on an ECFE bus trip to La Crosse to see the rotary lights.  10 years living here now and we've never been!  It was a lot of fun.  The bus ride was great!  The kids thought the big fancy coach bus was awesome.  I think they were pretty glad they chose front seats!  Now that we know what is all there, it would be fun to get Daddy to come along.  We didn't have too much time to walk around and no time to stand in line for Santa.  I hear he's a good one too!

new "airpane!"

Logan got a package in the mail on his birthday (yes, he's 2 now!) from the Robisons in Arkansas.  Grandpa Ron sure has a knack for finding neat airplanes!

Thanks everyone!

Goodview lighted parade

Big thanks to Pam for the pictures...I had my camera but forgot to grab the battery in the charger on the wall.  Just a couple pictures of Emily and Saber before the parade started.  Carol and Rylie came with us and sat with the boys at the end of the parade, just in time to see Em walk Saber the second half!

holiday house 2012

We stopped at the house with all the lights after the concert.... this year he opted for a motorcycle theme!  Push the button and the motorcycle does a "wheelie" and Santa pops out.  Pretty neat.  Glad we went then and not now being covered in 8 inches of snow!

E1 holiday concert

Emily had her school holiday concert last week!  Luckily it was a night Dave was home so he could wrangle the boys.
Emily played the bells like last year, unfortunately, we were too far back and they had them sitting on the floor or something because we could hear, but certainly not see them!

Logan loved clapping after each song...

 Boooored.

We went into Em's room after and she got out the basket of animal figures and quizzed Logan.

 Em and Anna!
Since I didn't get a hard copy...

First 2012 snowfall

Luke has been anxiously awaiting the first accumulation of snow so he could use this.  He was determined to make something of a snowman today.  Even if there was only an inch or so on the ground at the time.  After a couple of failed attempts, he managed to keep one upright and decorated!  Not enough room for a mouth though.  2 hour school delay here this morning.  Emily had tummy issues in the night, nothing came of it though.  And Dave is sick.  I guess it would be nice if sickness hit in the next couple of weeks instead of Christmas like usual.

Logan's 1st Build a Bear!

We spent Wednesday and Thursday up in the cities.  Emily had a Build a Bear gift card to use up, so the boys got bears by association!  It was Logan's first time.  He chose a puppy and had a fun time getting him made up.

 Filling with stuffing.....
Squeezing to see if he's soft enough.....

 Rubbing his heart.....

 and putting it in.....

fluffing!
