Halloween Extravaganza (Part 1)

Friday night was BoO-seum at the Children's Museum in Lacrosse....we decided to change it up a bit and Emily went in last years Princess costume and Luke donned a homemade Pirate costume made by me cutting a jagged edge on the hem of some black sweatpants and the bottom of his red shirt. And of course, his Pirate Robeez and a black bandana on his head, which was usually promply ripped off. There were games, treats, a bounce house, and the normal museum stuff.

Grocery shopping at Kwik Trip.

When asked who he was taking too, he said "Papa!"

Cashier Luke.

Pirate Luke. Although he wouldn't keep the bandana on his head longer than about 5 minutes.

I think someone needs a train table for Christmas!

We took the kids to the Mystical Trail at the La Crescent gun club on Saturday. Pics below!

The Enchanted Forest

We took the kids to the Hixon 'Enchanted Forest" Halloween walk today. They had people in character costumes stationed through out the walk so the kids could trick or treat. Pretty fun!
Meeting up with Shrek on the trail...

Off to Pocahontas...
My "bad witch." She'll look a little more "bad" on Halloween :)
The girls checking out their loot.
The gang all dressed up.
A perplexed Elmo wondering why it's so difficult to walk.
