Usually every spring, the kids' preschool has a day at the farm of a church member. Last Sunday was it! I'm pretty sure Logan's favorite thing was leading the miniature horse, since he has his "I'm having a lot of fun, but I'm not going to really show it" face.

{day trip #1} Rochester
Last Saturday we made a trip to Rochester for the day, with the main intentions of checking out the Rainbow store and the children's museum. The museum, unfortunately, was a bust! The had (somewhat) cute cowboy type exhibits set up, but otherwise, there was literally nothing to do there. Nothing. It's very small, one floor, in a small strip mall, between a couple restaurants I think. You would think Rochester would be able to support something larger! Like I told Dave, at least this will make us appreciate the La Crosse museum more, especially when we get to thinking it's boring also. Since it was so nice outside, we went over to the Zollman Zoo in Byron. Cute, small (free) zoo with native Minnesota animals. Of course, we had to stop at the mall for Emily. The girl needs some new flip flops.
Who knew woodchucks were so.... cute?
Sunning cougar....
This porcupine was putting on a fun show. He'd get on his back feet and dance around, like a bear with it's front paws up or something. Then he proceeded to climb up the fence.
I think we all said in unison..... "Ohhhh, it looks like Stelly!" (sort of)
