one mans junk....

 or however the saying goes.  It's sadly coming close to the end of the month when neighbor Shirley will be moving away.  She had some help at her house yesterday, cleaning out the house and garage.  Before we knew it, the boulevard was lined with free goodies.  Everything is so sturdy and in great shape structurally, just needs some refinishing!  I'm envisioning the ivory nightstand and wooden chair refinished and painted turquoise and put in a new room for Emily some day..... and the round table and end table refinished for a sun porch.....  and that metal wash bin!  Super neat.  A little clean up and spray paint will do wonders.  Plus a couple basement or garage chairs with perfect cushions.  We could even spray paint the legs if we get picky.  With all the people stopping and taking the other stuff after we rummaged, I'm so glad we were home to grab them!
