and the verdict is....

 ear infection.  Took him in on Tuesday, after 4 days of down in the dumps, and she said one ear was flaming red.  Poor guy.  We don't get many, if any, ear infections around here so that isn't my usual "go to" diagnosis.  Either way, he earned himself some antibiotic and now today is snotty and coughy.  I guess.... where else would it all go?  We still made it to ECFE this morning, he was a bit clingy, but it went off without a hitch.  And when I picked him up, he had marker on his nose and face, so he felt good enough to do some art!

 Even with no appetite, he doesn't pass up fruit snacks (although he was mad that he couldn't get one out).  Don't worry Auntie Susie, we brush good!
