Let's just call this one... "Fall"

Since it's been a while that I blogged, I'll just roll everything into one post!  We went to Ferguson's Orchard a couple times this fall, the first one to pick apples with Carol and Rylie, although we really had to search to find some non tart ones.  The kids ended up with some galas. Then we went the next weekend to Eckers and Ferguson's again with neighbor Maddie, finally picking honeycrisps.

You really only go to Ferguson's for the caramel apples anyways....

and the apple turnovers.  Em's favorite.

We stopped at a little farm/roadside stand between the 2 orchards, they had the cutest baby donkey and Logan managed to find a kitty to pet.

One Saturday, we met Deeda, Mark, Josey and the girls at Tweites farm in Byron.  We've never been there before and I've been meaning to for a long time so it was nice to check it out.  Huge place.  With punch cards and some sections you can only go into once.  Kind of different, but definitely lots to do.  Climbing things, big tires, castles, giant slides, etc.

Finally, this last weekend, we did the annual pumpkin trip and Tews farm.  It was Rylie's weekend at Carols, so the girls had a sleepover.

Usually, we just check out the patch and buy the pre-picked since most are pretty rough, but we managed to find some perfect ones!
