Emily went to camp last week through Winona's park & rec. She moved up from last year to the "entering K, 1, 2" age groups so she was able to go every morning from 8am-Noon instead of just a few hours like the past years. They went for hikes to Holzinger lodge, canoe trips from big Lake Winona over to the small lake, played at Lake Park, played with water balloons and made pop bottle rockets on the last day.
My "too old for naps" 5 year old sure gets worn out from eventful summer days. I can usually get her to nap (or to her..."rest") a few days a week. This was her an afternoon last week. This week she's at Camp We-no-nah through the Y everyday 8:30 - 4:30pm. She's exhausted come bedtime!
