farm visit

We went out to Shannon and Terry's farm in Stockton last week.  The kids had a lot of fun feeding the calves from bottles.  They were to be weaned to food from a bucket this week, so we made it out there just in time.  They also had their first opportunities milking a goat!  I had to take a turn also.  Terry even fired up the go-cart and took them on the trail through the field.

From the 4th.  We were thinking of going to either Rochester or St. Charles for fireworks (Winona doesn't have them on the actual 4th), but Dave ended up coming home from with a big booming pack from Sam's Club.  Yippee....  Hopefully next year we'll try out one of the two places.  We did some of them the night of the 4th and some the next night with Logan.  We'll have to hit Goodview Days fireworks so the kids can actually see some real ones this summer!

Strawberry Fest

 More from June....Strawberry Fest!  It was super hot that day.  They did the usual.... "fished" for goodie bags, the dunk tank (which was their favorite this year), bean bag toss, bounce houses and slushies.
