Wordless Wednesday

getting ready!

The kids and I went shopping for Stella after school today. We've learned that Fleet Farm and Menards are considerably cheaper than PetSmart or the like. But, you can't bring a puppy into those places, so I'm sure we'll make a trip or 2 to PetSmart anyways. The wire crates were on sale at Fleet Farm, so we got that, a starter collar and leash (fuschia, of course), a few more toys, the food and puppy biscuits she uses now to mix with what we'll end up using, 2 transition metal bowls, a metal food scoop, and a tie out. Still need: a cute ID tag, a mat/bedding for the crate, a brush, baby shampoo, dog food from Kelvin, and a dog food storage container. Her first vet appointment (well, technically 2nd) has been scheduled and Luke is so excited to give her a bone!

Uncle Nathan

Uncle Nathan is the best uncle the kids could ask for! He always indulges them in whatever they want to play or do. Whatever they want to read or have read to them. Whatever they want to eat or drink from his plate at restaurants. However they style his hair. Thanks Uncle Nathan and Erica for being 2 people the kids adore! Can you tell they came to visit yesterday?!

When I grow up....

Luke says "When I grow up, I want to be...." alot. Here are some of his ambitions.

• ice cream maker
• pretzel maker
• recyclin' man
• garbage man
• police car man
• fire truck man (obviously his inspiration comes from their method of travel in the last 4!)
• lemonade guy
• and his latest....a fence guy

Papa was here this week finishing up the fence. It looks great! Thanks Papa! He only got rained on Friday, cement day.
