This morning, Luke goes into the porch and says "Can we go outsiiiide?" I say "Not right now Bud..." He says these 3 things... (well, first he says Why?, but that's a given these days) "But it's cooler out... It's nooooot raining!.....It's nice ouuuuut!"I have been known to use the opposites of all those to deter from going outside. Smart kid.
Already. She was getting a little too fancy with turns and fell hard at the end of the driveway. She has patches on her knee and shoulder too. Luckily, I think it looks worse than it feels.
Guess who's been a bike riding maniac?!?! It's amazing how fast the learning happens. She's already standing up and riding...her trick as she says. 
Luke playing in the sandbox...his favorite outside activity. Well, and pushing his lawn mower. He never seems to lose interest in that!
Emily and I went to Target yesterday and got her school supplies. The list for Kindergarten is pretty basic....scissors, crayons, glue, glue sticks, pencils, 3 folders, supply box, kleenex, etc. She was wondering why notebooks weren't on the list. Here she is putting stuff in her backpack so she's ready for the big day!
Luke didn't go in past his knees, but I don't blame him, it's not a heated pool. Although he had fun whipping the pool noodles around.
This slide is pretty high, so he could see all the way across the baseball field on the other side of the highway and look at the barge on the river! He was really excited.
