Some from the weekend...

Nana and Papa came Friday and stayed a few days before the party. Papa hung our new window shades and they got to spend lots of time with the kiddos! Stamping!

Luke was helping Papa fix Emily's doll crib in the basement, he was fascinated with the power drill!

Whenever we're down in the toyroom, Tanner always wants extra loves.

Emily's really into board and card games right now, so Dominoes it was!

Luke got mail!

Luke got special birthday mail from his great aunt and uncle, Julie and Jerry, last week. He opened up a very neat tow truck puzzle (that helps learn colors too!) and a book that has all his favorite trucks in it...big trucks (semis), tractors, garbage trucks, fire trucks, you name it, it's in there! Thanks guys, he loves them!

Just this morning enjoying a cinnamon & sugar toast breakfast!

2 years sure go by fast! At this time, 2 years ago, I was at a routine OB appointment (granted, it was a day after my due date). I had woken up pretty crampy and contracting some and knew something was going on "down there" but since I had a regular appointment, I just waited to see what my midwife said. Which was I was already about 3-4cm dialated and definitely leaking fluid. So off to admittance Emily and I went!

Happy birthday to the sweetest, funniest, most handsome 2 year old I know! I need to make some well-child visits for the kids and then I'll know his stats. Other than that, we're just enjoying this little guy so much :)

loves looking at pictures on the fridge and saying who the people are...his latest is saying "Grandpa Mike!" We were at the grocery store and he saw a 'grandpa' looking man and claimed he was "Grandpa Mike!"

Sit 'n' Spin!

So this week Luke is 2! Unfortunately, nobody has been feeling 100%, but since it's only Tuesday, we hopefully have time on our side before his party. He woke up Sunday morning with evidence of puke, but surprisingly didn't wake up. He drank a ton of water, per request, but didn't keep it down for long. And now yesterday and today, we're dealing with the umm, other end. I feel a bit sickly, and Emily's been off too this week so far. But...we're keeping our fingers crossed!
