Emily and Bridget.

Luke getting ready to go.

After a hard day of playing, we had to stop at Rudy's for ice cream!

Tying the Knot

Somehow she gets from this mess, to this....

I remember writing a while back how Emily doing 2 things would make her seem so grown up. Well...one has happened! She learned to tie her shoes in the past few weeks. It's not the most efficient or correct way, but it gets the job done! I'm just happy there's going to be no more shoes flying across the room and fits of frustration. Well done kiddo!

Afternoon at the pool

Behind the Scenes...(pt. 2)

Cool vault door.

We took a tour of Winona National downtown bank with the ECFE group last week. Emily was bored and Luke was naughty until we got upstairs to see the animals. He kept saying "Woof Woof!" All these safari animals were shot between 1922 and 1926 by a woman (King? was maybe the last name, I forget, and somehow the Watkins family (as in Watkins products) has something to do with the bank. Luke was more interested in playing on the marble steps, so it was hard to pay attention. It was interesting though!

Emily's back! The Project. Visitors...

Last weekend Nana and Papa brought Emily back home after staying up in Cambridge the week of the 4th. She had a blast doing all sorts of fun stuff and visiting family!

Since Papa was here for the weekend, they started the swingset.

Getting corn ready with Nana for supper.

Working on the swingset more the next morning....

Moved, leveled, and anchored to it's final location.
And there it sits....indefinitely. But, someday it will look like this
