Last day in Door County

Thursday was our last day in Door County.  We finally made it to Al Johnson's restaurant for breakfast and to see the goats.

After breakfast, we went to the other side to check out Cave Point County Park first, then swim at Whitefish Dunes State Park, which are right next to each other.

Cave Point was beautiful, but a place where you keep someone like him safely strapped in on the trail.  Lots and lots of cliffs and drop offs.  The big kids ventured down with Dad though.

At the fun visitors center at Whitefish Dunes.... fossil finding!

Emily organizing the nature table....again.

Fun beach with some sand bars in the shallow areas.

Luke instructing his own fish boil....

On the way out of DC, we stopped at the famous Renards Cheese in Sturgeon Bay and fueled up on their pizza and grilled cheese before the drive home.  Nice store, bathrooms and play area for the kids to let off some steam.

Besides our day trip to Washington Island, that is it for summer vacation pictures!
