3 days of sick

A few couple of weeks ago, baby Logan came down with 3 days worth of high fevers.  Friday to Sunday.  Sunday's fever got high enough that it warranted an urgent care visit.  104.1 is too scary for me. He got a chest xray and blood drawn.  The xray showed some pneumonia starting, so we were off to get a prescription.  I always thought pneumonia was cold symptoms, but he had none of that.  Just the fever and so lethargic.  He had a terrible time taking the Augmentin they prescribed.  Out of the 10 days, he maybe got 4 days worth of the medicine.  He was even on to us when I started mixing it with juice or applesauce.  He seemed to get better though, stayed unmedicated fever free after a day or 2.  Now, this week he came down with all the cold symptoms he was lacking before!  Very crackly and kind of wheezy, lots and lots of coughing and snot galore.  So, off to see Dr. Lallaman on Wednesday.  She listened to his lungs and they still had fluid in them.  Now we are on a 5 day Omnicef and Azithromycin regimen.  Seems to be working great so far!  And he loves the taste of these :)

Can you feel the heat radiating off the little guy?  Not very often can you get a 15 month old to stay wrapped up on the couch.

He still played "beep nose" with me though!
