The kids and I went to the county fair yesterday. It was hot! But nice when the sun went behind the clouds. We got some discounted wristbands from a friend who's kids are in 4H. Luke tried the slide and the dragon roller coaster this year. Didn't like either. Which was funny, because he did give the roller coaster a second try, but the verdict was still the same. He's perfectly content going back and forth between the Jeeps and the Space ships. With a carousel ride thrown in once in a while. Emily went on one "big" ride, the 1001 Nights, or whatever it's called. She loves that one. She was pretty intrigued by the other big ones, but I talked her into trying those next year.
The 2 Luke's. This little guy, also named Luke, and my Luke play at the park by baseball every Wednesday night. Em and his older sister are on the same team. Last Wednesday, the other Luke and his family were sitting on the top bleachers and my Luke hollers up to him, "Hey Luke, wanna go to the playground?" It was cute to see him act like such a big guy.
