Luke seems to be following suit with Emily and thinks that swinging is torture. Both my kids liked swinging as infants, but hate it as 1 year olds. Emily loved it again the following summer, so hopefully Luke will too! 
(For reference...Emily at about 18/20 months)The kids and I went over to the park by our house a few nights ago...we left at 4:30pm and came home after 7pm! Luckily, it didn't seem like 3 hours :) It was the first great evening to do this. Luke could walk around an open field for hours! (well, he did actually!) It was stocked full of kids to watch and play with.
